Tech Sales

Description: Initial responsibilities for this position will focus on finding leads in order to grow our client base and introducing our senior staff to perspective clients in the custom web application development arena. Candidates must not be afraid to hit the phones and are required to make cold calls on a daily basis.The ability to filter leads early and well is critical, and requires someone who will quickly understand both what Cinemagic does and what our clients need.

This position reports directly to the Executive VP, but works with several senior staff members very closely for support and guidance. A successful sales person will have options for rapid growth, including account management, and marketing positioning definition.However, note that growth into these areas is not required: we will be as happy with someone who wants to focus only on the core skill-set as someone who expands aggressively.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Prospect for new leads
  • Follow-up on inbound leads
  • Qualify leads by analyzing prospect needs and presenting appropriate solutions
  • Analyze feedback and objections and uncover primary needs of various corporate executives involved in the buying process
  • Ability to clearly articulate business value and cost justification for buying Cinemagic services to senior decision makers in multiple B2B market segments
  • Thorough follow up skills via phone and email
  • Ability to leverage sales force automation and research tools to uncover, monitor and follow through on leads
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully overachieving quota

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An energetic attitude and ability to alternate between research and hands-on cold-calling and networking tasks.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience selling to mid to large businesses
  • Smarts and familiarity with Web-based systems, multimedia projects, and graphic design (print and/or Web).
  • Experience in selling custom projects or consulting services, as opposed to just products or staffing. Sales people that have only sold products or fixed services (such as those from the telecom industry) are not ideal unless you have a background in a creative world.
  • Ability to perform needs analysis and write proposals as required.

Our overall compensation package for successful sales people varies greatly depending on experience, but is typically includes a base salary and the remainder from meeting performance-based goals and commission. We also have company paid health and dental, and eyecare plans, retirement plan, and a vacation package.
